Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper shine in this independent romantic comedy about two broken people, who have both had challenges with mental illness, slowly getting together, ostensibly to try to help him win back his ex-wife. Robert DeNiro and Chris Tucker contribute nuanced supporting performances to this hilarious picture.

Grade: A.
