Michael (Joseph Fiennes), an ex-cop, turns his obsession with the Darwin Awards to figuring out the victims and trying to prevent more stupid deaths. He teams up with Siri (Winona Ryder), an insurance specialist, to investigate these stories. Creative reenactment of urban legends almost makes this irreverent comedy worthwhile.

Grade: C.
