Eric Dolphy was far too great a musician to be insulted by the release of this musically excellent, but horrifyingly low quality recording. The sound quality of this 2000 release is completely inexcusable. There are so many far better recordings of Dolphy available. Leave this unlistenable disc at the store.
AllMusic: Eric Dolphy — Wherever I Go.

Maybe i have a different copy of this CD. The one i just finished lisened to is great. Dolphy is excellent. I was in the forfront of he free jazz movement and put oif 9 records on my own 2 lables before i went broke. I pout out records by Frank Lowe;Butch Morris;Gunther Hempel;Burton Green;Keshavan Maslak;Sreve Lacy;David Murray;Jerome Cooper;Kalaparusha and others. I was licky enough to hear Dolphy and see him. As i said the cop[y of this cd that i have is great. My only complaint is that they do not list the personell.
